Preparation work before starting the concrete pump

What measures and preparations should be done before starting the pouring of concrete pumps to ensure safe use.

1. The setting of concrete pumps should be away from slopes, dams, pits, trenches, and the convenience of mixing materials on site by mixer trucks or small loaders should be considered, and the pipeline layout line should be shortened as much as possible.

2. The concrete pump must be placed on a solid and flat ground, and a flat concrete foundation should be poured.

3. After the concrete pump reaches the set position, use the jack to adjust the height so that the concrete pump ground wheel is off the ground, and the leg is firmly fixed with the leg pin. Ensure that the hopper door can be opened and closed freely and the material is easy to clean; if the pump position is not changed for a long time, the tire can be removed.

4. The area around the concrete pump should ensure sufficient water supply, reliable power supply (380 plus or minus 5%), and safe use. Cables with sufficient wire diameters must be equipped according to the motor power to ensure the safety of motor start-up, and appropriate lighting equipment should be set up.

5. There must be a 1-meter working space around the concrete pump for operation and maintenance.

6. When the concrete pump is switched from low-pressure pumping to high-pressure pumping, the concrete pump must be re-fixed to make it firm and reliable.
